Find or Add Animals in Worklists (v1)

Tap on a penClosed Pen number number to begin updating animals on your worklistClosed A worklist is a structured list of tasks or animals requiring attention, typically used to organize and prioritize work. In PULSE and the mobile app, worklists identify animals that need to be seen by dairy workers or animal health experts for specific reasons, such as pregnancy checks or treatment in a hospital pen..

All animals within the pen are displayed by their IDClosed Identifier number. You have several options for working with animals in a list, including:

  • Marking them DONE,
  • Adding them to the queue (vet lists only),
  • Searching for an animal,
  • Scanning an animal,
  • Adding more animals to a list, and
  • Viewing animals that are already processed.

The list search feature is helpful if you have located a specific animal and need to see if it is in your list. You can enter the animal ID in the search bar at the top of the screen, regardless of which pen you are currently viewing.

Animals matching your search are identified as needed or not needed:

  • NEEDED: The animal is in the list.
  • NOT NEEDED: The animal is not in the list, and you have the option to add it. See Add Animal to a Worklist to learn more.
NOTE: If the animal is in a different pen than the one you were originally viewing, you may need to go back to the main list screen to return to the pen you were working with prior to the search.

If you want to add an animal to the list, tap the animal ID in your search results or scan the animal. Select Add to List to add the animal.

NOTE: The animal is added to the worklist on your device only. Other users will not see the animal in the worklist on their devices until you process the animal and select Mark as Done.

Proceed to Complete Tasks (v1) after you finish finding or adding animals.
