Required Permissions
Users must have Herd Read permissions to view worklist A worklist is a structured list of tasks or animals requiring attention, typically used to organize and prioritize work. In PULSE and the mobile app, worklists identify animals that need to be seen by dairy workers or animal health experts for specific reasons, such as pregnancy checks or treatment in a hospital pen.s.
- Mark an animal as DONE from the mobile app or web.
- Process Changes and send list updates back to PULSE
- Undo an animal on the DONE list.

VAS PULSE Platform Worklists are available for processing from the mobile app, where you can view your lists, look up animals, mark animals as Done, and process updates while out on the dairy!
Worklists in PULSE can originate from multiple sources:
- Template Gallery or Dairy Reports/Worklists page
- DairyComp 305 and sent to PULSE using the \K switch (to-do lists and vet lists) or the \HK switch (hospital lists)
- Integrated PULSE partner systems
After your worklists are in PULSE, they sync to your mobile devices in the next care package VAS uses the term "Care Package" to describe the updates that the Platform "packages up" and sends to the mobile app. The Care Package is used to keep the mobile app updated with the most recent on-premise data received by the Platform.. PULSE currently supports To-Do Lists, Vet Lists, Hospital Lists, and Event Lists.
Features not yet supported
Platform Worklists do not yet support the following features:
- Using voice commands to look up an animal on a list
- Searching for an animal that is not on the list
- Parlor-based hospital lists
- Configurable sounds for hospital lists
