DNB (Do Not Breed) Event
The DNB
Do Not Breed event identifies an animal as "Do Not Breed" to keep it from all breeding activity. This event is also automatically added to heifer calves born as a twin or triplet to a bull (freemartin A female that is born as a twin or triplet with a bull and may be sterile as a result of exposure to hormones produced by the male in utero.). Event Guidelines
Use the mobile app or the web version of PULSE to enter events! Tap Events in the mobile app to get started, or see Add Events to learn more about adding events from web. PULSE supports adding events that have occurred within the last year.
The app will not allow you to add pregnant animals to this event, and it will warn you before allowing you to add animals that are in BRED status or are already in DNB status.
Process Changes
When you add events from web or the mobile app, your updates are sent to PULSE
When the updates are received, a DNB event is added for each completed animal with the EDAY Event day as the date the event was completed in the mobile app.
