How do I add a widget to my Dashboard or Overview Page?
To add this widget to your Dashboard or Overview page, check the box for it under the Herd category in the Page Customization options.
What permissions do I need to view this widget?
To view this widget on a Dashboard or Overview Page, your user account must be assigned to a Role with Herd Read permissions. See Edit Dairy User Permissions and Manage Dairy Roles for more information.
The Heifer Count by Age Groupings widget displays a breakdown of the number of heifers by age groupings of years/months. The first grouping displays the number of heifers up to 2 months of age. After that, the age groupings display the number of heifers in 3-month intervals (e.g, 3 to 5 months, 9 to 11 months, etc.).
Follow these guidelines when reviewing the data in this widget:
- Age groupings appear on the left side of the chart. Each grouping can be expanded to view details for each month of the grouping.
- Age groupings display in the format YR-MO (Year-Month).
- Percentages for each age grouping (and their sub-groupings) appear down the center of the chart. For example, the percentage PCT12 in the By Age 0-06…0-08 grouping means that 12% of the total number of heifers are within that grouping.
- The total number of heifers appears at the top-right of the chart. Below that are total heifer counts for each age grouping.
