Activate Nedap SmartSight Integration

Only users who are assigned a Role with Integrations Management permissions can connect partner integrations. See Edit Dairy User Permissions and Manage Dairy Roles for more information.

For data to be sent to PULSE (and DC305 for DairyComp Unlimited dairies), you must first add new items or configure existing items to map to the partner's data points.

1. In PULSE, navigate to Partners > Integrations Gallery and locate your partner company.
2. Click See Requirements.
3. Click Select Items to begin adding new items or mapping to existing items. Expand Available Items below to learn more about each item. 

   

4. Check the boxes to add new items to your dairy for the specific data you are connecting to PULSE.
   IMPORTANT: Select items for mapping carefully. If you make an error and need to change your item configuration, you will need to correct the items in DC305 DairyComp 305 - VAS Dairy Management Software (for DairyComp Unlimited dairies) or contact VAS Support.
5. If you have an existing DairyComp item you'd like to use, select it from the DairyComp Item drop-down.
6. Click Create or Done in the bottom right corner to finish adding and/or mapping your items.
7. Confirm the addition or mapping of your items and click Save.

Last BCS date	BCSFD	Date the last BCS was added.
Last BCS time	BCSFT	Time the last BCS was added.
Last BCS value	BCSV	Last BCS value. The value indicates an animal's energy balance based on being extremely thin or having excessive fat deposits. Contact SmartSight for more details on how their system scores body condition.
Previous BCS value	PBCSV	BCS value before the last value (BCSV). The value indicates an animal's energy balance based on being extremely thin or having excessive fat deposits. Contact SmartSight for more details on how their system scores body condition.
Last locomotion score date	LMSFD	Date the last locomotion score was added.
Last locomotion score time	LMSFT	Time the last locomotion score was added.
Last locomotion score value	LMSV	Last locomotion score value to indicate mobility. Contact SmartSight for more details on how their system scores locomotion.
Previous locomotion score	PLMSV	Locomotion score value before the last value (LMSV). Contact SmartSight for more details on how their system scores locomotion.

Follow these steps to establish the connection to SmartSight:

1. Click the Connection Status toggle and verify the status switches to Active.

   

2. If necessary, click Edit Integration to make any adjustments or edits and save your changes.
