NEW FEATURE HerdSights bring you custom insights!
VAS is thrilled to introduce HerdSights, our latest insights tool that allows you to build custom views of your herd's data. We know that managing a dairy means tracking countless details—herd health, reproduction, feed efficiency, costs. Instead of creating your own spreadsheets or other tools to track these numbers, you can now use HerdSights views and dashboards as your new hub for all dairy data and specific KPIs

ENHANCEMENT MyDC ONLY Add milk weights for unidentified animals to the correct date. MyDC dairies with parlor integrations now show milk weights for the correct date when an animal is not identified in the parlor. This improvement helps capture accurate milk weight data for animals that are later identified.
Other Improvements & Bug Fixes
- Embryo import improvement: PULSE now allows for the import of embryos with the same straw number if the embryos have different fertilization dates.
- Embryo transfers for heifers: PULSE now supports adding an embryo transfer to heifers after a recorded ABORT event and keeps the lactation number at 0.
- Sire validation fix: If a sire name exceeds the 16-character limit when adding a TRANSFER event, PULSE now displays an error.
- Embryo import date fixes: Resolved an issue where fertilization or transferred dates were being removed or imported incorrectly.
- Embryo print/export fix: Your data is no longer truncated when printing and exporting embryo inventory, transferred, and results tabs.
- ParlorBoss edit option: You can now adjust your parlor details in ParlorBoss using the Edit Parlor option.
- LastTreatmentDate fix: Resolved an issue that caused the Last Treatment Date to show the wrong date following daylight savings time adjustments.
MyDC ONLY Bug Fixes
- ABORT batch entry fix: Batch entry for ABORT events now works as expected when selecting to continue the current lactation.
- Breeding sire fix: PULSE no longer prompts for a breeding sire ID Identifier when adding animals that are not BRED or PREG Pregnant.
- Dairy Protocols Dairy protocols include a series of treatments or tasks that follow a prescribed order and schedule. Protocols may be defined for reproduction purposes, to treat an illness, or for routine vaccinations. translation fix: The Dairy Protocols page now displays as expected in languages other than English.
- Nedap Now milk weights fix: Milk weights from Nedap Now are now being received and shown in PULSE as expected.
