PULSE Update - January 2025
ENHANCEMENT PULSE worklists now process events or status changes in the order completed. PULSE 
Pregnant, and is later determined to have aborted, ABORT is the final status and animal details adjust accordingly. See Complete Tasks (v1) or Complete Tasks (v2) to learn more about processing worklists from mobile, or see Process Open Worklist in PULSE for help with processing worklists in web.
ENHANCEMENT HerdVision integration is now available! VAS is committed to partnering with other technology leaders in the dairy industry, and we are excited to announce the general availability of the HerdVision PULSE integration!
HerdVision is a versatile 2D and 3D imaging system that operates reliably in all lighting conditions and ensures continuous herd monitoring. This system integrates seamlessly with existing parlor setups or cattle races and incorporates an Electronic Identification (EID 15-digit electronic ID number associated with the animal eartag) reader to track individual cows’ daily changes with unmatched accuracy. Data transmission options like WiFi, Ethernet, and 4/5G offer flexibility for farms of any scale or location.
NEW FEATURE MyDC ONLY Parlor Integrations are now available! MyDC dairies can now connect their parlor systems and have all milking session and component data available in your one-stop shop: PULSE!
Leverage the power of PULSE to track and analyze the performance of your animals, and avoid managing data in multiple systems. See Daily Milk & Parlor for more information on all available partner integrations, and Parlors to get started!
ENHANCEMENT MyDC ONLY New BIRTH event! MyDC dairies have even more powerful event data entry at their fingertips. The new BIRTH event is automatically added when calves are born as part of their dam's FRESH event. This automates the addition of new animals to your herd and simplifies how your calves' parentage is tracked. See BIRTH Event (MyDC only) to learn more about this new event!
ENHANCEMENT MyDC ONLY Add optional details to multiple events! We've added critical animal health data to multiple events as optional details for MyDC dairies. You can now enter an animal's height, weight, and BCS value to the following events:
