ENHANCEMENT Embryo management improvements: Managing your embryos in PULSE just got easier! Check out the latest improvements:
- You can now delete transferred embryos and choose to either return them to inventory or discard them. This helps to correct mistakes if the wrong embryo was selected during a TRANSFER event. See Delete Transferred Embryos to learn more.

If an animal was BRED within 10 days, TRANSFER events cannot be added and PULSE flags the animal in an error message:
Be sure to check that the recipient animal is correct when you see the BRED error message.
- You can now add stage 9 embryos (expanded and hatched blastocysts) to recipient animals. See Requirements for Embryo Transfers for additional requirements.
ENHANCEMENT Additional embryo details: PULSE now supports additional data for your embryos:
- Lab ID Identifier
- Lab Embryo ID
- Embryo Owner
You can also filter your Embryo Inventory, Transferred Embryos, and Embryo Results pages using the new fields. See Embryo Management to learn more about managing your embryos in PULSE.
NEW FEATURE ParlorBoss Reports are now available in PULSE! Dairies with a ParlorBoss DairyComp integration can now view reports on their parlor's efficiency and animal identification accuracy. Use the reports to track and analyze specific parlor performance details and help your team evaluate animal prep routines, milking equipment attachment methods, and other parlor activities for potential improvement opportunities.

ENHANCEMENT Nedap SmartSight integration now available! VAS is committed to partnering with other technology leaders in the dairy industry, and we are excited to announce the general availability of Nedap SmartSight integration. SmartSight powered by Nedap is an AI-powered camera system that helps detect lameness in cows during milking. A consistent, objective, and automatic tool for creating a lame score on a cow at every milking. These scores help generate actionable insights, including prioritized trim lists and monitoring recovery after trimming.
Other Improvements & Bug Fixes
- FeedComp on PULSE user interface improvements: The Feedings page and Feed History Report are now more intuitive and easier to use. Printed outputs were also improved for readability.
- Added "Unknown" breeding result: PULSE now shows "Unknown" rather than a "-" when waiting to confirm the results of a BRED event.
- ParlorBoss report timezone fix: ParlorBoss reports now show the correct local dairy date/time for all timezones.
- Integration toggle fix: If an integration is disabled and then enabled from the Integrations Gallery without a page reload, PULSE connects the integration as expected.
- FeedComp ingredient name edit: The ingredient name is now editable when adding a new ingredient in the side panel.
- FeedComp Dry Matter Intake by Pen Type report metric value fix: The Dry Matter Intake by Pen Type report now formats the Total Dry Matter amount correctly for metric dairies.
- Embryo transfer invalid breed error: Resolved an unexpected error when transferring embryos from inventory.
MyDC ONLY Bug Fixes
- EXPCALF cleared for new lactations: When an animal has a FRESH or ABORT event, the EXPCALF is now cleared as expected.
- ABORT batch entry fix: Batch entry for ABORT events now works as expected when selecting to continue the current lactation.
- Breeding result improvement: If an animal is BRED after a previous breeding, the last breeding results is automatically set to OPEN.
- Milk weights fix: Current milk weights are correctly shown for DMLK1, M1, M2, and M3.
- Bulk MEASURE event date: MEASURE event dates are now captured correctly when set to a date other than today.
- Herd Worker role fix: Tasks can now be completed as expected in mobile and web for users with a Herd Worker role.
