Animal Inventory Trends
Required Permissions
To use this feature, your VAS PULSE Platform user account must be assigned to a Role with Herd Read permissions. See Edit Dairy User Permissions and Manage Dairy Roles for more information.
The Animal Inventory Trends report provides a visual representation of recent animal inventory changes for cows and heifers by reproduction status, as well as heifers by age.
You can find this feature under the Insights menu.
Use the following guidelines when viewing your Animal Inventory Trends:
- Click on the tabs to select one of three reports:
- Cows by RPRO Reproductive code
- Heifers by RPRO
- Heifers by Age
- Cows by RPRO
- By default, the reports show up to 12 months of data.
- Hover over the graph to view animal count details by month.
- Click the animal groups in the key to control which animal groups are included:
- Cows by RPRO status key:
- Heifers by RPRO status key:
- Heifers age key:
- Cows by RPRO status key:
- View your animal inventory data by month in a table below the graph.
- Print or export your report in one of two formats: PDF and CSV.
