Reproduction Codes

All users assigned to a role with Herd Read permissions can view this feature.Only users who are assigned a role with Herd Configuration permissions can edit data or customize settings.

The ability to edit and customize select fields may also depend on which version of PULSE you are using (DC Unlimited or MyDC). See the topics below to learn more:

The Reproduction Codes page allows you to view the descriptions for the reproductive status values assigned to animals in your dairy. DC Unlimited subscribers can also edit the descriptions for the codes if they have the required permissions. You can find this feature under the DairyComp/MyDC menu > Settings option on the Reproduction Settings tab.

NOTE: Only the descriptions of reproduction codes can be changed; the actual code numbers themselves cannot be altered. Additionally, reproduction codes cannot be deleted, nor can new reproduction codes be added.
  1. Click on the applicable reproduction code in the list to edit its Description field in the side panel.

    The description can be up to 30 characters long.

  2. Click Save.

    A message is displayed at the bottom of the page indicating that your changes have been saved.
