By partnering with other leaders in the industry, VAS offers our customers additional options for sharing critical data and messaging between the Platform and our partners' systems. We are proud to offer integration options with the following vendors:
AgSource's KetoMonitor® is a comprehensive management tool that combines laboratory analysis and individual cow data, collected weekly or on the monthly test day, to provide producers with an estimate of a herd’s monthly ketosis prevalence, and identifying when blood testing or therapeutic treatments should be implemented. This cost-effective management tool will help curb the costly impacts of ketosis.
The KetoMonitor widget allows you to display ketosis test data from your AgSource integration directly in your Dairy Dashboard in the VAS Platform.
Förster-Technik provides a variety of calf-rearing tools and applications focused on feeding and calf growth, with a philosophy that optimally-raised calves are your future healthy and high-producing dairy cows. Förster-Technik's Platform integration allows for VAS calf data, including FRESH event details and sire and dam parentage, to be shared with Förster-Technik's system.
The Platform also offers four unique Förster-Technik data-driven widgets to track and display the following information:
- Calf Rearing Characteristics, including calf data such as birth date, projected wean date, parentage, weight, and feeding details
- Drinking Behavior, which shows the volume of milk consumed per day
- Drinking Speed, which shows how quickly the milk was consumed
- Milk Consumption, including details for each individual feeding and how it compares to the calf's entitlement, or milk allowance
smaXtec internal sensors track animal activity and temperature, and the premium model, pH Plus, also tracks the rumen pH. The sensors, known as boluses, provide you with timely and precise information regarding pending heat and calving events based on animal activity levels. Consistently tracking animal temperatures and rumen pH allow for an earlier detection and more proactive treatment of a variety of diseases, including infections, heat-related illnesses, and ruminal acidosisSub-acute ruminal acidosis (SARA) is a digestive disorder caused by low rumen pH levels (below 5.6) and diets high in starch and low in fiber. Dairy cows experiencing SARA often do not exhibit any obvious symptoms, though some may have mild diarrhea, reduced appetite, foamy feces, and reduced rumination (cud-chewing)..
SomaDetect in-line sensors measure critical indicators of quality and health, providing dairy farmers access to analytics of milk quality, reproductive status, and herd health from every cow at every milking. SomaDetect's integration with the Platform allows for VAS animal data, including stall location, test day details, and diagnosis events to be shared with SomaDetect's system.
If your dairy is configured to integrate with a VAS Platform Partner, the CowCard Partners tab or a custom dashboard widget display associated animal data. Or, if the integration is one-directional (pulling VAS data only), then Platform data is available in the partner's system.
